Daniel Oley
Born: Unknown
Died: 1724

Daniel Oley, Citizen and Girdler, London merchant and ship-owner (d. 1724). Daniel Oley does not appear in the TASTDB but the Chancery suit of Arnold v Bradford in 1707 showed him as one of the owners of the Thomas and John on a slaving voyage from London that is reasonably certainly identifiable as voyage no. 21226 in 1704-06 to Calabar and York River under Robert Ransome [sic]. Daniel Oley of ye Black Swan in Bread Street was buried 29/09/1724 at St James the Great Friern Barnet.
