London West India merchant (c. 1710-1768), partner with Vincent Biscoe (q.v.). Marmaduke Hilton does not appear in TASTDB, but Hilton Briscoe [sic] were owners of the Scipio under letters of marque three months before a slaving voyage from London by the Scipio to the Gold Coast and Jamaica under John Cappes (q.v.) in 1756, which is shown as owned by John Cappes (of whose will Marmaduke Hilton was an executor) and unnamed others in TASTDB.
