3.1 million enslaved people trafficked to the British colonies

Jonathan Gladman (d.c. 1704), shown as the co-owner of a slaving voyage by the Ann Bonadventure from London to Africa and Barbados in 1699 and captain of the Shrewsbury Gall[y] on two slaving voyages for Sir Jeffrey Jeffries and Roger Shuller and others in 1700 and 1702. No burial record has been found for him. He appears to have died during or shortly after the second of these two voyages.
