Will of John Sutton of St Michael Barbados made 02/05/1703. He left £2000 to each of three daughters, Sarah, Dorothy and Annah [sic], the latter two at 18, all to be paid out of his Barbados estate. He left his wife Margaret the use of his estate in Barbados and London for life, but should she marry again only his Barbados estate and 'negroes', and then the whole of his estate in Barbados and London to his son Edward. He left his property in Jamaica to his other two surviving sons John and Richard Smith.
