London ‘German merchant’ (d. 1711), owner of two slaving voyages and co-owner of a third, all from London, between 1709 and 1711, one to St John and one to Kingston Jamaica: the third was captured before any African people were embarked. Owner of a number of privateers, including the Judith with Thomas Upton (q.v.). He failed in 1711, and was buried that same year at St Clement Eastcheap.
