Anthony Forty (d. 1720), London merchant and co-owner with six others of a slaving voyage from London by the Nicholson in 1700, and then co-owner in three slaving voyages of the Macklesfield or Macklesfield Gally between 1708 and 1711, each with a different partner, and all originating in London. He was a shareholder with some management role in the reorganised mines of Sir Carbery Pryse in Cardiganshire c. 1693.

Will of Anthony Forty merchant of St Gabriel City of London. Forty instructed that he be buried at St Gabriel Fenchurch Street if he died in the City of London. He left £2000 to his wife and £100 to his son, also named Anthony, in lieu of any entitlement under the custom of the City of London, he [the testator] having previously settled his real estate on his son 'which otherwise I would not have done.' He left two female servants Elizabeth Hill and Mary Hill £60 and £40 respectively. He made his wife Mary residual legatee and executrix. The will was attested by Richard Chauncy (q.v.), Thomas Mather and Richard Locker.
