3.1 million enslaved people trafficked to the British colonies

Co-owner of a slaving voyage from London by the Samuel and Margaret to New Calabar and Jamaica in 1699.  The will of John Hubbard, Grocer of Botolph without Bishopsgate proved in 1707 is conceivably that of this man but has no internal evidence cementing the connection. John Hubbert [sic] of London was in litigation with Ralph Newell (q.v.), a co-owner of the 1699 voyage of the Samuel and Margaret, in 1709 over the will of John Lewen, sailmaker of St Katherine proved that same year.
