3.1 million enslaved people trafficked to the British colonies

Pewterer of London, co-owner with different groups of three slaving voyages from London in 1700-1, one by the Duke of Gloucester to Africa and Jamaica, one (with seven others) of a slaving voyage from London by the Prosperous to Africa and Antigua, and the third by the Amity to Africa and Barbados. There appear to have been at least 3 generations of Pewterers of this name: Robert Mollen [sic] whose will was proved 1658; Robert Moulins senior fl. 1680; and Robert Moulins junior fl. 1680-1722.  Robert Moulins senior was a Common Councillor and Master of the Pewterers in 1676 and possibly joint Master in 1689. Robert Moulins junior was apprenticed to his father Robert Moulins Citizen and Pewterer in 1680. The will of William Moulins mariner of St Margaret Lothbury made in 1697 and proved in 1698 showed Robert Moulins jun. as his brother and executor. No will or burial record has yet been found for either Robert Moulins senior or junior.
