P_10433_0947 – James Way
‘James Way’ was shown as co-owner with John Burridge in a slaving voyage from London by the Mary and Elizabeth to Gambia and Virginia in 1712. Joseph Way (q.v.) was a Bristol slave-trader with a voyage from Bristol in 1710 co-owned with John Burridge and Walter Burridge. It seems likely that ‘James Way’ is a mistranscription for Joseph Way.
