P_10433_0979 – John Crosse

D.O.B: D.O.D:

‘John Cross’ was co-owner of a slaving voyage from London by the Donegal to Africa and Jamaica in 1698, and the owner with unnamed others of a slaving voyage from London by the Anapolis in 1700 under Thomas Ashby, for which no further information is given on TASTDB on its itinerary or fate. This latter voyage was almost certainly the subject of Crosse v Ashby in 1701-02, which gives him as John Crosse merchant of London.
