Co-owner of a slaving voyage from London by the James and Francis to Bonny and Jamaica in 1699. John Loyd merchant in Nicholas Lane was owner of a ship named the Robert and Henry under letters of marque in 1696. John Lloyd [sic] of St Nicholas Lane was in correspondence with W. Popple in 30/12/1708 over illegal trade between Portugal and Carolina. The will of this man was probably that of John Lloyd of St Nicholas Acon proved 06/07/1730.
