3.1 million enslaved people trafficked to the British colonies

London merchant (d. 1720), co-owner of three slaving voyages from London, all destined for Jamaica, in 1699-1700, the earliest of which included John Hall (q.v.), probably Ezekiel Hall’s brother and business partner who died c. 1702.  Ezekiel Hall was bankrupt by 1711, and a renewed commission of bankruptcy against Ezekiel Hall merchant late of London in 1723 probably also referred to the slave-trader: this would be consistent with the apparent lack of a will. Ezekell [sic] Hall was buried in the Middle Aisle at St Dionis Backchurch 26/10/1720.
