P_10433_1210 – Stephen Cabibel
Stephen Cabibel was a co-owner alongside Peter Cabibel (q.v) and others in the slaving voyage of the Mary from London in 1712. Stephen Cabibel was probably the son, but conceivably an otherwise untraced brother, of Peter Cabibel. Stephen Cabibel the son died c. 1762. Two bankruptcies were recorded for a Stephen Cabibel, in 1719 and 1748. The first bankruptcy, and indeed the slaving voyage, would have come relatively early in the career of Stephen Cabibel the son, who was born c. 1688.
