Owner of a slaving voyage from London by the Anne to the Gold Coast and Charleston in 1724. Given as ‘Latur’ but almost certainly Jacob Satur, a merchant of London and Charleston, bankrupt in 1727. He had purchased land in Carolina from Samuel Wragg (q.v.) in 1720 and onsold it in 1721. He died in South Carolina in 1733.
