Will of John Olderman of Liverpool mariner and now master of the ship Lucy on her intended voyage to the coast of Africa made 23/04/1801. He left his the income from his estate to his wife Ann Olderman subject to an annuity of £20 p.a. to his sister Elizabeth Olderman of Arbroath (or £10 p.a. should Olderman have any children born by his present wife) and to a legacy of £100 to Miss Johnson, daughter of Robert Johnson merchant of Liverpool: he made the latter his co-executor with his wife. In codicil of 24/04/1801 he left occupation of his house at Arbroath to his sister for life.
