Co-owner of three slaving voyages from London by the Black Prince between 1764 and 1767, and possibly of three further voyages from London between 1764 and 1768 by the Squirrel (two to Charleston), for which ‘Hunter’ is given as the owner of one and no ownership information is known for the other two. William Hunter was of London, fleeing his creditors in 1768.
