3.1 million enslaved people trafficked to the British colonies

Francis Grueber (d. 1730), gunpowder maker of Faversham in Kent, and co-owner of four slaving voyages from London, three between 1702 and 1705 (of which two are known to have been destined for Jamaica) and a fourth in 1717 alongside the South Sea Co. to Whydah/Ouidah and Buenos Aires.  He was briefly in partnership with Thomas Coram.
