Given as Christopher Anstey in TASTDB but as Christopher Ashley in the London Gazette in 1745 in a claim made on his behalf by Samuel Bonham for the Ana [sic], master Spackman, as Christopher Astley in an account of a petition of 1735 re the Ana and as Christopher Asstley in litigation also with Samuel Bonham in 1733. To date his profession or trade has not been identified.
