Richard Wilson gunmaker of London was party as creditor of John Nor[rie] and William Clevland (both q.v.) to a suit against John Boys (q.v.) and others in 1754, while Richard Wilson was granted administration of the will of William Clevland in 1761 as creditor. In 1756 Richard Wilson was co-owner with Peter Bostock (his co-investor in 1764 and 1765 in the voyages of the slave-ship Minories to Charleston) in the Black Prince with John Nutt of London and Benjamin Smith & Co. of Charleston. The Black Prince made a voyage (77676) from London to Charleston in 1757 with Bostock as Captain and no owner shown. No will has yet been traced for Richard Wilson.
