Co-investor with John Jones in a slaving voyage by the Molly Gally from London to York River c. 1726. He has not been identified to date and was possibly of Virginia. John Salter of London was defendant with others including Bigley Wilson (q.v.) in Crow v Iles in 1714, and was probably the man who became an Alderman of London. A Gregory Salter had a Bristol voyage to Rappahannock in 1731.
