‘Jeffrys’ was shown as the owner of a slaving voyage from London by the Townsend to Africa and Barbados in 1725. Conceivably one of the sons of Sir Jeffrey Jeffreys (q.v.), either Edward Jeffreys MP (1680-1740) or Nicholas Jeffreys of St Andrew Holborn (d. 1747).
