P_10433_2072 – Robert Moore

D.O.B: D.O.D:

Robert Moore was shown as captain of two slaving voyages from London in 1731 (for Humphrey Morice) and 1737 (the latter as ‘Robert More’) and the co-owner of a third, by the Sarah to Africa and Havana in 1736.  It is not confirmed that these were all the same man, but the will of Robert More merchant of Greenwich, about to make a voyage to the coasts of Africa and other parts beyond the seas, made in April 1737, includes another Humphry Morice captain, William Snelgave, as executor.
