P_10433_2078 – Coulson Fellowes
Born: 12/10/1696
Died: 23/02/1769

Coulson Fellowes (1696-1769), MP for Huntingdonshire 1741-1761, nephew of Sir John Fellowes (q.v.) and grandson of Joseph Martin (q.v.). ‘Colson Fellows’ was shown as the co-owner of a voyage from London by the Friendship in 1736 to Africa and Jamaica. His wealth appears to have been inherited primarily from his father William Fellowes and his uncle Edward Fellowes, but his second History of Parliament entry also suggests that he invested or speculated in the public funds.
