P_10433_2086 – John Fell
Co-owner of a voyage by the Faulcon from London to Cabinda and Charleston in 1736, and very probably also co-owner of a voyage by the same ship and the same captain (with one of the same co-owners, James Pearce q.v.) from London to West Central Africa and Charleston the previous year, where the co-owner is given as ‘James Fell.’ This was either John Fell senior (d. 1754) of Wapping, who outlived his son John Fell jun. (d. 1749) and grandson John Fell a wine merchant (d. 1751), or John Fell jun.: all three men were of St John Wapping.
