Will of John Hyde of Poplar, Stepney made 09/05/1730. He had, he said, entered into articles of co-partnership on the marriage of his son Samuel dated 02/02/1718 (NS) and into articles of agreement on the marriage of his son John 06/08/1724, and had made settlements on the marriage of his daughter Anna to William Snelling and his daughter Ann to John Lotton [sp?], and accordingly he now provided £1500 for his daughter Jane and £2000 for his daughter Althea, gave John £1000 and another son Robert £3000. He left his residual estate among his three sons subject to an allowance of £40 p.a. to Jane and £80 p.a to Althea.
