Will of Henry Guinand of London, formerly merchant there but now in the service of the Hon. East India Co. in Bengal made in Calcutta 01/08/1775. He left 20,000 rupees to his son John Henry Guinand if he was in India at the time of his father's death (or £2000 if he was elsewhere); £2000 to his daughter Susanna Charlotte Guinand; and £1000 to his sister Catherine Guinand. He left: £50 to the French church in Threadneedle Street for the use of the poor; £20 to the French hospital commonly called the pest house; and £20 each to the Swiss society and to the London Hospital.
