Edward Hearle (fl. 1741-1752), owner of a slaving voyage from London by the London Frigate to the Sierra Leone estuary and Maryland in 1741, was the son of the slave-trade captain Digory Hearle who had 11 slaving voyages between 1704 and 1728 in the TASTDB (as Digory Herle), and brother-in-law of another slave-ship captain, John Sibson, who had four slaving voyages from London between 1731 and 1738. Edward Hearle was still alive in 1752 when his mother Elizabeth made her will, in which he was portrayed as indebted to her. To date no burial record or death-date has been found for him.
