Co-owner with Theophilus Daubuz (q.v.) and Michael James (q.v.) of a slaving voyage from London by the Tryal in 1765. He has not been further identified to date. A John Wilkinson of Lothbury was a trustee under the will of James Bradshaw (q.v.) proved in 1783: this man of Lothbury was the father of John Denison ne Wilkinson MP. A John Wilkinson of London appears as supplier to the navy in London and Antigua c. 1768-73.
