P_10433_2546 – Robert Bostock
Co-owner of a voyage in the Indian Queen in 1743 (for which he was shown as Robt Baselock) and sole-owner of a second voyage in the same ship in 1747. He appears likely to have been the Robert Bostock of Dolphin Court whose will was proved in 1748. Robert Bostock of London was connected to Jamaica, appearing in 1739 as the attorney of Anne Merrick, mother and executrix of John Merrick of Jamaica. He appears unconnected with either Robert Bostock (q.v.) the Liverpool slave-trader active in the 1770s to the 1790s, or with Peter Bostock (q.v.) the London slave-ship owner-captain.
