P_10433_2564 – Mason (Sons)
‘Mason (Sons)’ appear alongside ‘Mason’ as co-owners of a slaving voyage from London to Bonny (about which no further information is known) by the Dispatch in 1766, captained by Robert Lockerman. They have not been further traced. These cannot be the sons of Kender Mason (q.v.), who were infants at the time, or Kender Mason himself, whose own father was dead by 1738. We have tentatively concluded that this might in fact be associated with the Morson family, merchants in Dominica and Antigua.
