He has not been identified to date. A Henry Moore was a Liverpool captain(s) between 1776 and 1793 and captain-owner 1783-84. Nothing has been found to date to link the 1769 owner-captain with Capt. Henry More of Low Layton who d. c. 1773 and who had a wife and daughter named Ann: he appears to have been a soldier not a sailor.
