‘Roberts George’, shown as co-owner with Humphrey Morice (q.v.) and Joseph Lockwood (q.v.) of a slaving voyage from London by the Whidaw/Whidah Gally to Whydah/Ouidah and Jamaica arriving in 1717. No man of this name has been traced. It is possibly a corruption of either George Roberts or Robert George, neither of whom has been traced further in this context.
