Will of Thomas Hughan of City of London [and of North End Hampstead] proved 20/01/1812. In the will he mandated that his wife's annuity be secured first from his funds. He then left £3000 for a natural daughter Jane Hughan and £2000 for a natural daughter Margaret Hughan, £5000 to his sister and £1000 to John Murray, son of David Murray of Hornby House, with the remainder of his estate passing 'as the law directs.' Although he had made a will in Jamaica, there is no evidence of property in people in his English will.
