Partner with Joseph Bennett, John Burchard [sic], and John Cardin [sic] in a single voyage of the Andalusia to the Gold Coast and Grenada in 1789-90. A Robert Burchall of 5 Lothbury ‘packer’ was recorded fl. c. 1788-1790, and appears as Robert Burchell in the 1794 Kent’s Directory, while Robert Burchall was co-defendant with John Barchard [sic] among others in a lawsuit of 1807. No will has been found to date for Robert Burchall, but it is possible that he was Robert Burchall of Walthamstow who was buried at St Mary the Virgin Leyton aged 80 22/06/1830.
