Will of Joseph Reid merchant of Cornwall Terrace, Regents Park and of Sun Court Cornhill proved 10/01/1857. He had executed a settlement on the same day he made his will in 1851, and the will provided for his assets to be sold and the proceeds shared among his four daughters after a legacy of £75 for the education of his son Edward Maitland Reid. He made his three sons executors, and presumably had made separate provision for them in the settlement he referred to in the will.
