Owner of a slaving voyage from London to Africa and Havana by the Brothers in 1801, probably captain of a voyage from London by the Catherine and Eliza to Africa and Berbice in 1800 and possibly captain of three further voyages, two from Liverpool in 1797-98 and one from Bristol in 1795. An Andrew Erskine was subject of a commission of lunacy in 1804 and was described as a ‘lunatic’ late of Brooke House Hackney in 1808.
