Owner-captain in a voyage of the Catherine and Eliza from London to Gallinhas and Havana in 1801, and very probably the Thomas Pratt who was captain for four voyages of the Hibernia for Robert Sellar of Liverpool between 1803 and 1807. A memorial in Askrigg church to Thomas Pratt identifies him as the captain of the Hibernia; the will in Chester of Thomas Pratt master mariner proved 1811 was likely of this man.
