P_10433_2920 – Lamb
‘Lamb’ was co-owner with Samuel Hartley (q.v.), mainly a Liverpool slave-trader, in the slaving voyage from London to Malembo and Charleston of the Comte du Nord in 1783. The voyage has a detailed history by Nick Radburn that makes no mention of ‘Lamb’ among its owners, but associates the fitting out of the ship with Hartley and Miles Barber. ‘Lamb’ has not been further identified to date: the known biographical details of Edward Lamb (q.v.) would tend to preclude him from co-ownership of a voyage in 1783.
