P_10433_2975 – William Collow
Born: Unknown
Died: 23/01/1823

Major London and Le Havre slave-trader, owner or co-owner of 16 voyages out of London (and one from Cowes) between 1790 and 1796, mostly to St Vincent but with some elsewhere in the Caribbean, including Tobago, and co-owner of a further 9 voyages out of Le Havre to St Domingue and Tobago between 1787 and 1793. No PCC will has been found for him, and for a man of his importance in the slave-trade he appears to have left little impression in Britain.
