Sources: John Wentworth, A Complete System of Pleading: Comprehending the Most Approved Precedents ...p. 389 et seq. The case concerning the insurance with William Cazalet of the slave-trading ship Eleanor [or Ellinor] showed the full set of trustees of Miles Barber to have been James Baillie, Richard Crawshay, William Clay, William Taylor, John Shoolbred, John Barnes and Francis Henry Shepherd (the latter dead by the time of the case). The cases of Dick v Snell C 13/2063/36 (1802) and Dick v Bailie C 13/2067/32 (1803) include many of the same parties. PROB 11/1688/247.
