P_10433_3098 – Huttleson (a) Huddleson

D.O.B: D.O.D:

Huttleson/Huddleson was shown as the owner of a slaving voyage from London by the Juno (built Newbury, registered Savannah) under J. Fisher to the Congo River captured by the French and the captive African people landed at Martinique in 1806. However, there are disparities between the two series of Lloyd’s Registers in 1807 in their recording of the ship. Lloyd’s Register (Shipowners) and the Vice-Admiralty Court records suggest that John Fisher (q.v.) was the owner-captain, and the Lloyds’ Register (Underwriters) entry might in fact refer to a different ship.
