‘James Naylor’ was shown as the co-owner with Charles Herries (q.v.) and James Drummond (q.v.) of a slaving voyage from London by the ship the London to the Gold Coast and St Vincent in 1792. This was almost certainly in fact Joseph Nailer, partner of Charles Herries and bankrupt with him in 1798.
