P_10433_3135 – Thomas Milliken

D.O.B: D.O.D:

Thomas Milliken, London merchant (fl. 1807-1809), co-owner with ‘Geddes’ of a slaving voyage from London by the Marquis of Huntley to Bonny and Dominica in 1807, bankrupt in 1809 with his partners George Geddes (q.v.) and Alexander Geddes. He was probably also co-owner of the voyage from London by the Satyr to the Congo River and Dominica in 1806, for which the owner is shown only as ‘Geddes’ in TASTDB: litigation in Butts v Silke in 1817 concerned the seizure of the Satyr by creditors of George Geddes, Thomas Milliken and Alexander Geddes.
