3.1 million enslaved people trafficked to the British colonies

David Dick (1769-1833), partner in slave factors in Jamaica, Kingston, and co-owner of a slaving voyage from London in the Phaeton and of two voyages from Liverpool by the Stag and the Hinde, all in 1799, with the ships lost in two of the three, one captured and the other shipwrecked.  He returned to Scotland and bought an estate there, dying in 1833.
