Will of Thomas Miles Bynon of Northumberland Street, New Road merchant and 'being about this country for Africa' [sic] made 29/03/1824. He reiterated his marriage settlement of 1809 with his present wife and an assignment of 1815, under which he was entitled subject to his wife's life interest to will settled property in the absence of issue, and he accordingly willed it to her; in the event of her predeceasing him, he left his estate in trust one-third to his sister Harriet Bynon; one-third between Mrs Lydston Walker Parena of Plymouth Co. Down and Mrs Harriet Dunsterville Symons wife of Peter Symons of Plymouth aforesaid coal merchant; and the remaining third to Eliza Bynon, daughter of John and Elizabeth Bynon of Maida Hill Edgware Road. In codicil he recognised he was indebted to his brothers as trustees under his marriage settlement for £1250 and £900 payable at £60 p.a. over 15 years, and made his estate subject to these charges.
