P_3009 – Robert Mackmillan
Although with the exception of a single voyage from London, co-owned with Miles Barber (q.v.), Robert Mackmillan’s ten slaving voyages as co-owner between 1769 and 1772 were from Liverpool, he appears to have operated from London in at least part of the period of his slave-trading. When he witnessed the will of slave-ship captain Ebenezar [sic] Price of Islington in 1771, he was given as of ‘Allhallows London Stone London’ merchant. He was of ‘Kensington’ when he made his will 01/02/1774 but was probably the man buried at St Olave Hart Street 15/02/1774.
