Voyage 83003 in 1785 is shown in TASTDB as that of the Pallas without a British port of origin from Cape Coast to St Vincent, owners 'Fuler, Mourgue' and captain Mourge, Henry. Voyage 83004 shows the voyage in 1786 from Dominica to Cape Coast Castle of the Pallas, Captain Higgin. We have tentatively concluded that 'Fuler, Mourgue was the London merchant and pewterer Fulcrand Mourgue whose brother Henry Mourgue reportedly owned land in Dominica c. 1773 [John Byres, 'Plan of the Island of Dominica, as surveyed from the year 1765 to 1773' p. 7 shows 'Mourgue' to be the owner of Lot 3 (266 acres) in the Parish of St George] and again reportedly died at Principe off Cameroon in 1788 [https://gw.geneanet.org/saorsel?lang=fr&pz=sabine&nz=orsel&ocz=0&p=henry&n=mourgue]; The will of Fulcrand Mourgue identified his brother as Henry Mourgue and his niece's husband as John Charles Constable, who is known to have lived for a period in Dominica [https://www.ucl.ac.uk/lbs/person/view/8786]. The ship Pallas has not been found in the Lloyd's Register under Mourgue, but a ship of this name appears in the 1784 Loyd's Register under J. Cheshire, the owner-captain [given as Cheshyre J] in an earlier slave voyage from Liverpool in 1783.
