3.1 million enslaved people trafficked to the British colonies

Owner-captain alongside the South Sea Co. of a slaving voyage from London by the Duke of Cambridge to West Central Africa and Buenos Aires in 1725.  He has not been further traced but he was possibly the Captain Thomas King formerly mariner of Hackney  and after[wards] merchant of London deceased whose creditors (including Richard Oswald) were in litigation against his surviving family and its representatives in 1754.
